Man arrested on stalking, abuse order violations in Cavendish, Ludlow

CAVENDISH, VT — A 32-year-old man faces multiple charges including aggravated stalking and violation of an abuse prevention order following incidents that occurred over several weeks.

Jordan P. Roberts, of Cavendish, was arrested Dec. 18 by the Windsor County Sheriff’s Department.

Authorities learned Roberts had violated an abuse prevention order, committed aggravated stalking and interfered with access to emergency services, according to Deputy Black, Deputy McCabe and Sgt. Keefe.

The incidents occurred over the last few weeks in Cavendish and Ludlow.

Roberts was located around 7 p.m. in Ludlow.

He was transported to the Ludlow Police Department and then to Southern State Correctional Facility, where he is being held on $10,000 cash or surety bail.

Roberts faces charges of aggravated stalking, two counts of violation of an abuse prevention order and interference with access to emergency services.

He was cited to appear in Windsor County Court on Dec. 19 at 12:30 p.m.
