CORTLANDVILLE, NY — A 27-year-old man was arrested after allegedly threatening a victim by telephone at a highway department facility.
Kyle W. Bush, of Cortlandville, was taken into custody at 12:22 p.m. on Dec. 14 following an investigation by the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office.
Officers were dispatched to the Cortlandville Highway Department at 4765 State Route 41 to investigate a harassment complaint.
Through their investigation, officers determined Bush had contacted a victim at the facility by telephone and proceeded to threaten them.
Bush was located by officers and arrested, then transported to the Public Safety Building for processing.
He was charged with aggravated harassment in the second degree, resisting arrest and obstruction of governmental administration in the second degree, all misdemeanors.
Bush was arraigned through the Centralized Arraignment Process at 8:20 p.m. on Dec. 14 and released on his own recognizance.
His next court date is scheduled in Cortlandville Town Court on Dec. 22 at 11:00 a.m.
