MONTVILLE, CT — A driver died after crashing into multiple objects along Route 32 on Monday.
The vehicle was traveling south on Route 32 approaching the intersection with Route 163 when it veered right and struck a metal beam guardrail, according to the Montville Police Department.
The vehicle continued traveling south on Route 32 before striking a rock wall, a traffic control signal, a building and a utility pole before coming to a final rest.
The driver was transported to Backus Hospital for injuries sustained in the collision and was later pronounced deceased.
The identity of the driver is being withheld until next of kin notification can be made.
The collision remains under investigation.
