MOORESTOWN, NJ — A collision between a school bus and a passenger vehicle sent nine people to area hospitals Tuesday afternoon.
The crash occurred at approximately 3:15 p.m. at the intersection of Hartford Road and Borton Landing Road in Moorestown Township.
Six students, the school bus driver and three occupants of the passenger vehicle were transported to area hospitals for evaluation.
Preliminary information indicates the injuries appear to be minor and those involved are doing well.
The remaining students aboard the bus were safely transported to a nearby school, where they were reunified with their families.
School counselors will be available to support students who may need additional reassurance in the coming days.
The incident remains under investigation, and the cause of the collision has not yet been determined.
