QUEENSBURY, NY — A 20-year-old man was arrested Nov. 29 after allegedly threatening a visitor with scissors during a dispute at a home.

State Police arrested Tayevion Mcintosh, of Hudson Falls, and charged him with menacing in the second degree and criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree.

Troopers responded to a home in Queensbury at about 10:50 a.m. for a report of a dispute.

The investigation determined Mcintosh had been temporarily staying at the location when the property owner invited someone inside to visit.

Mcintosh reportedly demanded the visitor leave even after the resident said they could stay.

When the victim refused to leave, Mcintosh allegedly brandished a pair of scissors and held them to the victim’s throat while threatening to cause them serious injury.

Mcintosh was arrested at the scene and transported to State Police barracks in Queensbury for processing.

He was issued an appearance ticket returnable to Queensbury Town Court on Dec. 15 and released.
