SWANTON, VT — Vermont State Police have cited a man following an assault incident.
On Dec. 15 at approximately 3:01 p.m., troopers from the St. Albans Barracks were notified of an assault that occurred in the town of Swanton.
Through investigation, it was determined that Andrew Joseph Robert Weatherwax, 24, of Swanton, intentionally caused pain and/or bodily injury to Damon Unwin, 20, of Swanton.
Weatherwax was located at his residence and taken into custody.
He was transported to the St. Albans Barracks for processing.
Weatherwax was cited to appear before Franklin County Superior Court on Dec. 16 at 1 p.m. to answer to a charge of simple assault.
