DANBY, VT — Vermont State Police arrested a Rutland Town man on an assault charge early Monday morning.
Troopers from the Rutland Barracks were notified of an assault at 1566 U.S. Route 7 in Danby at approximately 6:04 a.m. on Dec. 15.
Through investigation, police determined that Nathan Choiniere, 20, of Rutland Town, had caused bodily injury to Kevin Parker, 43, of Middletown Springs.
Choiniere was located in Rutland Town and placed into custody.
He was processed at the Rutland Barracks and released with a citation to appear in court at a later date.
