SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — South Windsor police arrested a woman on an active arrest warrant Wednesday morning.

Lauren J. Haberern, 38, of South Windsor, was taken into custody at 8:58 a.m. at a residence in South Windsor.

The charges stem from a domestic violence investigation in November.

Police determined Haberern drove by the victim’s residence, honked the horn and stuck her middle finger out in his direction, in violation of a protective order.

Investigators also determined she continuously sent the victim text messages telling him to kill himself.

Haberern was charged with harassment in the second degree and violation of a protective order.

She was processed and held on a $5,000 surety bond.

Haberern was presented at Manchester Superior Court on Thursday.
