Vehicle operator killed in two-car crash in Victory

VICTORY, NY — A Red Creek man died Wednesday after his vehicle crossed into oncoming traffic on State Route 104.

The New York State Police from Troop E responded to the two-vehicle fatal collision near the intersection of State Barn Road at approximately 12:33 p.m.

A vehicle traveling eastbound on State Route 104 entered a curve in the roadway, lost control and crossed into the westbound lane, striking a second vehicle.

The operator and sole occupant of the eastbound vehicle, Asa M. Uribe, 22, of Red Creek, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The westbound vehicle was operated by Aric B. Lewis, 52, of Grayson, Kentucky, with Tonya N. Lewis, 51, also of Grayson, Kentucky, as a passenger.

Both were evaluated at the scene by EMS.

The investigation remains ongoing.
