FAIRLEE, VT — A vehicle crashed into the median on Interstate 91 North near mile marker 96 on the morning of Dec. 11.
Vermont State Police dispatch received a report of the crash at approximately 7:26 a.m.
Troopers arrived and determined that a 2018 Hyundai Elantra had exited the west side of the road and suffered significant damage.
The operator was identified as Jeong Yang, 53, of West Lebanon, New Hampshire.
Two passengers were in the vehicle: Byeol Kim, 32, of West Lebanon, New Hampshire, and Sydney Shohan, 28, of Newport News, Virginia.
All three occupants were wearing seat belts.
Kim was not injured, while Shohan sustained possible injuries but was not transported to a hospital.
Speed and road conditions are contributing factors in the crash, according to state police.
Road conditions at the time were described as slick with partial snow cover.
The Fairlee Police Department assisted troopers at the scene.
