LINCOLN, RI — A Warwick man turned himself in to state police Wednesday morning on charges stemming from a barracks investigation.
Shakil Velazquez, 23, of Warwick, was arrested at 10:35 a.m. at the Lincoln Woods Barracks.
He was charged with eluding law enforcement in a high-speed pursuit, reckless driving and obstructing an officer in the execution of duty, all first offenses.
Velazquez was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks.
He was later arraigned at Sixth Division District Court.
