SWANTON, VT — Vermont State Police arrested a woman for allegedly violating an abuse prevention order on Dec. 10.
Troopers from the St. Albans Barracks were notified at 12:52 p.m. of a violation of an abuse prevention order at 127 Hog Island Road.
An investigation revealed that Jami Lapan, 55, of Swanton, had violated a court order.
Lapan was arrested and held on $200 bail at Northwestern State Correctional Facility.
The victim was identified as Robyn Lapan, 54, of Swanton.
Lapan is scheduled to appear in Franklin County Court on Dec. 11.
