PANTON, VT — A single-vehicle crash occurred on Vermont Route 22a on Dec. 8.
Troopers were dispatched to the scene at approximately 8:54 a.m.
The investigation revealed that Mercedes Oxfordkemp, 34, of Orwell, was traveling north on Vermont Route 22a when she hit a patch of snow and lost control of her 2020 Kia Soul.
The vehicle left the roadway to the right.
Oxfordkemp was wearing a seat belt and sustained minor injuries.
She was transported to Porter Medical Center.
The vehicle sustained damage to the right and left sides.
Weather conditions at the time were partly sunny with snow, and road conditions were partial snow and slush.
Troopers were assisted on scene by Vergennes Fire Department, Bristol EMS and CDR Towing.
