FERRISBURGH, VT — A two-vehicle crash occurred at the intersection of Middlebrook Road and Shellhouse Mountain Road on Dec. 4.
Troopers responded to the scene at approximately 2:50 p.m.
Investigation revealed a 2019 Subaru Legacy operated by Mark Pomerantz, 39, of St. Albans, was traveling south on Shellhouse Mountain Road while a 2015 Acura MDX operated by Daniel Brisson, 48, of Ferrisburgh, was traveling east on Middlebrook Road.
Pomerantz failed to stop at a stop sign and entered the intersection without yielding to Brisson.
The front end of the Subaru struck the front driver’s side of the Acura.
Both vehicles came to rest in upright positions.
No injuries were reported.
Road conditions were snow-covered and weather was cloudy at the time of the crash.
Both operators were wearing seat belts.
The Ferrisburgh Fire Department assisted troopers at the scene.
Pomerantz was cited for failure to stop at a stop sign.
