ROCKLAND, ME — A 23-year-old Arkansas man was arrested on charges of failure to comply with sex offender registry and violation of conditions of release.
Jonathon Daugherty, of Arkansas, was taken into custody by Rockland Police on Dec. 7 during a traffic stop.
Officers learned Daugherty was continuing to fail to comply with Maine sex offender registration laws and his court-ordered check-in conditions of release.
Daugherty has a non-extraditable warrant out of Arkansas for failure to appear and register as a sex offender.
He was out on bail following a prior arrest by Rockland Police in early November for failure to comply with sex offender registration, failure to provide correct name and date of birth and refusal to submit to arrest or detention.
