ENOSBURG, VT — Vermont State Police responded to a single-vehicle rollover crash on Duffy Hill Road on Dec. 7.
Police received an iPhone crash notification at 5:02 p.m. from the area of 345 Duffy Hill Road.
The vehicle, a 2015 Ram 1500, was traveling north on Duffy Hill Road toward West Enosburg Road when the operator failed to navigate a right turn, according to police.
The vehicle exited the southbound shoulder of the roadway and rolled once before coming to rest on all four wheels approximately 35 feet off the road.
Snow-covered roadways were a contributing factor to the crash, police said.
The operator was identified as Jon Schurger, 24, of Sheldon, who was not wearing a seat belt and sustained minor injuries.
A passenger, Deanna Currier, 25, of Sheldon, was wearing a seat belt and was transported to Northwestern Medical Center for precautionary measures.
An 11-month-old juvenile passenger did not sustain injuries but was also transported for precautionary measures.
Schurger was transported to Northwestern Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries.
