ST. JOHNSBURY, VT — A 64-year-old man was arrested on a drunken driving charge Friday evening following a traffic stop on Railroad Street.
Vermont State Police troopers initiated the stop at 5:25 p.m. after observing multiple motor vehicle violations.
The operator was identified as Russell Robinson of St. Johnsbury.
An investigation revealed that Robinson had operated a vehicle under the influence, police said.
Robinson was taken into custody and transported to the Vermont State Police barracks for processing.
He was later released on a citation.
This is Robinson’s second DUI offense, according to police.
