SANFORD, ME — A Sanford man has been arrested in connection with a robbery at a 7-Eleven in Springvale on Dec. 1.
Matthew Sommer of Sanford was arrested Saturday during a search warrant and arrest warrant operation on Bodwell Street in Sanford.
The Sanford Police Department executed the warrants with assistance from the Southern Maine Special Response Team.
Sommer was charged with robbery.
He was transported to the York County Jail and is being held on $25,000 bail.
Detectives have been following up on leads and inspecting evidence since the robbery occurred.
