WATERVILLE, VT — Vermont State Police arrested a Morrisville man on an active warrant and cited him for driving with a criminally suspended license Saturday afternoon.
Troopers were monitoring traffic on Vermont Route 109 in Waterville at 2:13 p.m. when they observed a vehicle with no registration plate.
Police conducted a traffic stop and identified the operator as Landin W. Trombly, 21, of Morrisville.
Further investigation revealed Trombly was operating a motor vehicle with a criminally suspended license.
Trombly was also found to have an active in-state arrest warrant out of Lamoille County for failure to appear stemming from DUI, eluding and excessive speed charges.
Bail on the warrant was set at $200.
Trombly was issued citations to appear in Lamoille County Superior Court – Criminal Division on Dec. 8 at 12:30 p.m. for the warrant and on Jan. 7, 2026 at 12:30 p.m. for the driving with a suspended license charge.
