NORTH HAVEN, CT — Police have arrested a second suspect in connection with a July 15 smash-and-grab burglary at Arnold’s Jewelers.

Troy Coleman, 59, of North Haven, was taken into custody Thursday pursuant to an active arrest warrant.

Coleman was already a suspect in an attempted burglary at the same business in April.

During the latest arrest, investigators were able to link him to the July 15 break-in, during which two masked suspects used a sledgehammer to shatter the front door and display cases before stealing approximately $100,000 in Rolex watches.

Coleman has been charged with burglary in the third degree, conspiracy to commit burglary in the third degree, criminal mischief in the second degree and larceny in the first degree.

He was released after posting a court-set $100,000 bond.
