PAWTUCKET, RI — A Cumberland man was arrested early Friday morning on drunken driving charges following a traffic stop.
Branden Da Gama, 29, of Cumberland, was taken into custody at 2:52 a.m. on School Street.
State police charged Da Gama with driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor and/or drugs, second offense, and refusal to submit to a chemical test, second offense.
Da Gama was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks.
He was arraigned and released pending a future court date at Sixth Division District Court.
