WORCESTER, MA — A man was arrested on drug charges following a suspected drug transaction on Millbury Street.
At approximately 12:30 p.m. on Dec. 4, Worcester Police officers assigned to the Neighborhood Response Team observed a drug transaction on Millbury Street.
Officers approached the buyer who was summonsed for possession of a Class B substance.
Officers then approached Duamel Ocasio, 54, of Worcester, who was in the driver’s seat of a vehicle with three passengers.
Officers recovered a rock-like substance suspected to be crack cocaine behind the gas pedal of the vehicle.
Ocasio was placed under arrest and charged with distribution of a Class B substance and possession of a Class B substance.
The three passengers were free to leave.
