WINDHAM, VT — Vermont State Police arrested a man following a reported family fight Thursday evening.
Troopers responded to a residence on White Road at 5:40 p.m. for a report of a family fight.
An investigation revealed Gary Clay Jr., 53, of Windham, had assaulted a household or family member, police said.
Clay was arrested on charges of first degree aggravated domestic assault and four counts of violation of conditions of release.
He was transported to the Westminster State Police Barracks for processing.
Clay was issued a citation and is scheduled to appear at Vermont Superior Court, Windham Criminal Division, on Friday at 12:30 p.m.
He was lodged at Southern State Correctional Facility on $5,000 bond.
