EAST FREETOWN, MA — Police seized 22 firearms and suspected oxycodone from a residence on Gray Oaks Drive following a search warrant execution.
Lance Cambra, 63, of East Freetown, was arrested Dec. 4 after officers discovered two unsecured firearms while assisting Freetown Fire-Rescue at 9 Gray Oaks Drive at approximately 8:30 p.m.
Officers observed concerning behavior from a third party during the fire-rescue call, which led to the discovery of the firearms inside the home.
Police determined Cambra did not possess a valid firearms license and obtained a search warrant for the residence.
The search resulted in the seizure of 20 additional firearms, assorted ammunition and feeding devices, and a quantity of white pills packaged in bags believed to be oxycodone.
Cambra was processed at the Freetown Police Station and transported to Ash Street Jail in New Bedford.
He was scheduled to be arraigned in Fall River District Court on 22 counts of possession of a firearm without an FID card, one count of possession of ammunition without an FID card, two counts of improper storage of a firearm and one count of possession of a Class B drug.
The case remains under investigation by the Freetown Police Department.
