PLYMOUTH, VT — A Connecticut teenager crashed his pickup truck into a tree early Thursday morning on a snow-covered road.
Vermont State Police from the Rutland Barracks responded to the single-vehicle crash on Messer Hill Road near Grand View Lodge Road at approximately 5:52 a.m.
Ethan Laub, 17, of Woodbridge, Connecticut, was driving a 2021 Ram 1500 southbound on Messer Hill Road when he failed to navigate a left curve, according to police.
The vehicle exited the right side of the roadway and struck a road sign before colliding with a tree.
Laub was wearing a seat belt and did not sustain any injuries in the crash.
The vehicle sustained substantial damage.
Snow was falling at the time of the crash and the road was snow covered.
The Plymouth Fire Department assisted at the scene.
No citations were issued.
