NEWINGTON, CT — A Newington man was arrested Dec. 3 on charges related to the possession of child sexual abuse material.
Dylan Taylor, 25, of Newington, was taken into custody following an investigation that began after a cyber tip was received through the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
Detectives conducted an extensive investigation that involved the execution of several search warrants.
Digital evidence confirmed the possession of illegal content, leading to Taylor’s arrest without incident.
Taylor has been charged with possession of child sexual abuse material in the first degree.
He was processed and released on a $150,000 surety bond.
Taylor is scheduled to appear at New Britain Superior Court on Dec. 17.
