GLASSBORO, NJ — A man was arrested following a road rage incident at a Wawa that allegedly involved a handgun.
Police responded to the Wawa at approximately 3:50 p.m. on Nov. 30 for a report of a road rage incident.
The victim told officers he was engaged in a verbal altercation inside the Wawa with a male over a parking issue.
The victim and the accused continued the verbal altercation in the parking lot.
The victim said he was standing in front of the accused’s vehicle when the accused entered his vehicle, lifted what was believed to be a firearm and pointed it at him through the windshield.
The accused’s vehicle then left the parking lot and headed toward Washington Township while being followed by the victim, who was relaying information to Gloucester County Communications over the phone.
Washington Township Police Department conducted a felony motor vehicle stop and detained Jeremy Siciliano.
The vehicle was towed by Glassboro police and Siciliano was released pending the remainder of the investigation and results of a search warrant of the vehicle.
On Dec. 1, detectives searched Siciliano’s vehicle and located a handgun matching the description provided during the investigation.
Siciliano was charged with possession of a weapon for unlawful purpose, aggravated assault with human indifference, possession of a large capacity magazine and terroristic threats.
Siciliano was placed under arrest and lodged in the Salem County Jail.
