AUSABLE, NY — New York State Police responded to Interstate 87 southbound near Exit 34 for a reported tractor-trailer rollover on Dec. 2 at approximately 6:55 p.m.
An investigation determined that a white 2013 tractor-trailer, operated by Nelvilson Gonzalez, 35, of Staten Island, was traveling southbound on Interstate 87 when the operator lost control due to slippery pavement and unsafe speed.
The vehicle left the roadway, entered the western shoulder, and subsequently overturned.
Interstate 87 southbound was shut down for approximately four hours to allow for safe recovery and removal of the vehicle.
Gonzalez was not injured.
He was issued two vehicle and traffic tickets returnable to the Town of Ausable Court at a later date.
