WINTHROP, NY — New York State Police arrested three people in connection with a larceny from a vehicle that occurred Nov. 19, 2024.
Troopers responded to State Route 11C at approximately 5:28 a.m. for a report of a larceny from a vehicle.
An investigation determined that a purse containing a wallet had been stolen from a vehicle at a residence on State Route 11C in St. Lawrence County.
The suspects attempted to use multiple credit and debit cards at several stores and were successful in completing transactions at times.
Police identified three suspects: Jessica J. Ashley, 36, of Brasher Falls; Jesse D. Cali, 31, of Winthrop; and Dale F. Pryce, 38, of Brasher Falls.
The Town of Bombay Court issued arrest warrants for each suspect.
On Nov. 28, 2024, troopers located Pryce and transported him to State Police Massena for processing.
He was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny and released on an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Bombay Court.
On Dec. 17, 2024, Ashley turned herself in at State Police Winthrop.
She was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny, arraigned in the Town of Bombay Court and released on her own recognizance.
Police learned that Cali was incarcerated on unrelated matters, and his arrest warrant was lodged with the jail.
On Dec. 2, the Clinton County Sheriff’s Department transported him to State Police Malone for processing.
He was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny and arraigned in the Town of Malone Court.
