WHITINGHAM, VT — Vermont State Police have located a missing 67-year-old man who was last seen walking near Sadawga Lake Road.
Robert Birch of Whitingham was reported missing at approximately 9 p.m. Monday after he was last seen on foot in the area of Sadawga Lake Road and Kentfield Road.
Police said Birch is an avid walker known to travel several miles a day on foot in the Whitingham and Readsboro areas.
He was described as a white male, approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall, 183 pounds, and was last seen wearing blue jeans, a gray sweatshirt and a green windbreaker jacket.
Birch had gone missing before but was located safely, police said.
