MIDDLETOWN, RI — Members of the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force and the Middletown Police Department arrested a 20-year-old man on Nov. 25.
Briggs T. Callahan, of Middletown, was arrested on a Newport County Superior Court bench warrant for technical violation on an original charge of larceny of a firearm.
The original charge originated from the Newport Police Department.
Callahan was taken into custody without incident.
He was turned over to members of the Middletown Police Department on scene.
