Man arrested in drug operation in Roxbury

BOSTON, MA — A joint operation between the Drug Enforcement Administration and Boston Police Department resulted in a significant drug seizure on Dec. 2.

Officers from the Drug Control Units of Districts E-18, B-2, B-3, E-13, and Citywide assisted the DEA in the operation.

During the investigation in the area of 34 Holborn Street in Roxbury, officers and DEA agents observed a suspect driving on Holborn Street and conducted a traffic stop.

The suspect was removed from the vehicle and taken into custody on an arrest warrant issued by the U.S. District Court of New Hampshire.

Officers then executed a search warrant at 34 Holborn Street.

They recovered approximately 1.3 kilograms of cocaine, 5 pounds of methamphetamine, 800 grams of fentanyl, and more than $10,000 in U.S. currency.

All drugs and evidence were seized by the DEA.

The suspect was transferred to DEA custody.
