GROTON, VT — Vermont State Police responded to a single-vehicle crash on Vermont Route 232 on December 2 at approximately 1:49 p.m.
Police said Dallas Holloway, 24, of Groton, was driving south when he failed to maintain his lane while navigating a corner.
Holloway’s 2011 Ford Taurus collided with a dirt embankment and came to an uncontrolled rest, according to police.
Holloway was transported to Cottage Hospital in Woodsville, New Hampshire, for treatment of suspected minor injuries.
A passenger, Tristan Colbeth, 18, of Groton, was not injured, police said.
Both occupants were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash.
Police said speed and snow were contributing factors in the crash.
Roads were snow-covered and snowing at the time of the incident.
The Groton Fire Department and Woodsville Ambulance assisted at the scene.
Troopers from the St. Johnsbury Barracks investigated the crash.
