NEWBURY, VT — Vermont State Police are investigating a hit-and-run incident at the Newbury Veterinary Clinic.
Troopers from the St. Johnsbury Barracks were notified of the vandalism at approximately 9:35 a.m. on Dec. 2.
Police determined that between the night of Nov. 29 and the morning of Nov. 30, a vehicle struck the business sign at 3890 US Route 5 N.
The sign was damaged in the collision.
The operator failed to stop and render aid as required by state law.
The suspect has not been identified.
