LYNDONVILLE, VT — A Wheelock man was cited on charges of possession of stolen property and criminal driving with a suspended license after a traffic stop on Main Street.
William J. Snyder, 36, was contacted by a Lyndonville Police Department patrol officer at 128 Main Street at 12:28 p.m. Nov. 29 after the officer observed violations.
Police determined Snyder was driving after criminal suspension.
Officers also found Snyder was displaying a license plate that had been reported stolen.
The plate belonged to Darryl Bouchard, 62, of St. Johnsbury.
The license plate was seized by police.
Snyder was cited into Caledonia Superior Court with an arraignment scheduled for 8:30 a.m. Feb. 9, 2026.
