PLATTSBURGH, NY — A 61-year-old man was arrested on felony drug charges following an investigation into crack cocaine distribution.
Miles P. Lockett, of Plattsburgh, was taken into custody at 8:50 p.m. Nov. 21 on an active warrant issued by Clinton County Court.
Lockett faces two counts of criminal sale of a controlled substance in the third degree and two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree.
All charges are B-felonies.
The charges stem from an investigation by the Clinton County Sheriff’s Office Detective’s Division into the sale and distribution of crack cocaine in the Plattsburgh area that began in summer 2025.
Lockett was processed at the Sheriff’s Office and committed to Clinton County Correctional Facility pending arraignment in Clinton County Court.
The Clinton County Sheriff’s Office was assisted in the investigation by the Plattsburgh City Police Department, New York State Police, Homeland Security Investigations and the New York State Army National Guard.
