Man arrested on identity theft charge in Wickford

WICKFORD, RI — State Police arrested a Providence man on identity theft charges following a barracks investigation.

Troopers arrested Eliezer Inostroza, 37, of Providence, at 3:53 p.m. on charges of identity theft and providing false documents to a public official.

The Providence Police Department located Inostroza during the investigation.

He was held at the Adult Correctional Institution – Men’s Intake Center as a bail violator pending an interview to determine his true identity.

In a separate incident, troopers arrested Letty Cass, 35, of Wakefield, at 12:06 a.m. following a motor vehicle stop on Route 138 West in North Kingstown.

Cass was charged with driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor and/or drug – BAC unknown – first offense and refusal to submit to chemical test – first offense.

She was transported to the State Police – Wickford Barracks, where she was processed and arraigned by a Justice of the Peace.

Cass was released into the custody of a responsible adult with a future Third Division District Court date.
