LYNDON, VT — Two vehicles collided on East Burke Road on Nov. 26 after one failed to yield while entering the roadway.
Vermont State Police responded to the crash at 1282 E Burke Rd near Burrington Bridge Rd at 5:08 p.m.
Steven Stowell, 58, of Saint Johnsbury, was operating a 2014 Toyota Corolla that was entering onto East Burke Road when the vehicle failed to yield, according to police.
The Toyota struck a 2016 Jeep Wrangler operated by Eric Fillion, 48, of East Haven.
Both vehicles came to an uncontrolled rest in the roadway.
Stowell sustained minor injuries and was transported to Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital for treatment.
Fillion was not injured.
Both vehicles sustained substantial damage.
Road conditions were wet at the time of the crash, though weather was clear.
Both operators were wearing seat belts.
State Police were assisted at the scene by DMV police, Lyndonville Fire Department and Lyndon Rescue.
