Man arrested on drug trafficking charges in Hyde Park

HYDE PARK, MA — A Roslindale man was arrested Wednesday following the execution of search warrants that resulted in the recovery of 251 grams of drugs.

Officers assigned to the Drug Control Units of District C-6, E-13, and E-18 conducted a joint drug investigation in the area of 18 Adams Street.

The suspect was observed leaving the location in his vehicle.

District E-18 officers conducted a motor vehicle stop and placed the suspect under arrest.

Officers knocked and announced their presence before entering the apartment.

The search resulted in the recovery of 118 grams of cocaine, 102 grams of crack cocaine, 31 grams of fentanyl, a digital scale, drug manufacturing material, and approximately $1,095 in U.S. currency.

A dirt bike was also seized as evidence, and the Auto Theft Task Force will seek additional complaints.

Jefrey Candelario, 30, of Roslindale, was arrested and is expected to be arraigned in West Roxbury District Court.

He faces charges of trafficking of Class A, trafficking of Class B, and reckless endangerment of a child.
