ROCKLAND, ME — Rockland Police arrested two people on drug-related charges following a report of a verbal domestic dispute in a parking lot off Limerock Street.
Officers responded to the scene at approximately 2 p.m. on Nov. 27 after a caller reported suspicion that a man and woman were using drugs.
Police made contact with Randall Blasius, 33, of Friendship, and Makayla Batty, 29, who is transient.
Batty was arrested on an outstanding warrant for failure to appear on a prior drug charge.
She was later released on personal recognizance bail set by the court.
Police determined Blasius was out on nine active sets of bail conditions, including a prior felony drug arrest.
A search of Blasius revealed he was in possession of 4 or more grams of fentanyl.
Blasius was arrested on charges of felony trafficking in scheduled drugs and violation of conditions of release.
