Couple arrested on child endangerment charges in Lancaster

LANCASTER, NH — Two Lancaster residents were arrested on charges of endangering the welfare of a child and witness tampering after police say two juveniles were left home alone for an extended period without adult supervision.

Arthur Desellier, 42, of Lancaster, and his wife Shelli Desellier, 43, of Lancaster, were taken into custody on Nov. 27 at the Lancaster Police Department.

Police were notified of the situation on Nov. 25.

The New Hampshire Division for Children, Youth and Families was notified and a criminal investigation was initiated.

Warrants were applied for and granted based on the investigation.

Bail was set at $1,500 cash for both defendants.

Arthur Desellier was transported to the Coos County House of Corrections and Shelli Desellier was transported to the Grafton County House of Corrections.

Both are pending a hearing in Lancaster District Court.
