BENNINGTON, VT — A Bennington man was arrested after allegedly failing to stop for police during a traffic incident earlier this month.
Nathan P. Rowe, 47, of Bennington, was charged with eluding a police officer following an incident on Nov. 14.
State police said troopers attempted to stop an orange Polaris Expedition traveling on South Street near Weeks Street at 10:44 p.m.
The operator failed to stop for both state police and Bennington Police Department after officers activated emergency lights and sirens, according to authorities.
Through investigation, police determined Rowe was operating the utility terrain vehicle.

He is scheduled to appear in Vermont Superior Court Bennington Criminal Division on Jan. 12 at 8:30 a.m.
Rowe was also issued six Vermont Civil Violation Complaints totaling 6 points and waiver penalties of $1,354.
