NORTH PROVIDENCE, RI — A North Providence man was arrested on an outstanding warrant following a traffic stop on Jan. 9.
Neil Young, 48, of North Providence, was taken into custody at 3:07 p.m. on Smithfield Road.
Young was arrested on a Third District Court bench warrant for failure to appear for arraignment on an original shoplifting charge from the Johnston Police Department.
He was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and transferred to the Adult Correctional Institutions Men’s Intake Center.
