LAKEWOOD, NJ — Lakewood Township Police and Fire Departments responded to a reported structure fire on 5th Street at approximately 9 p.m. on Nov. 25.
Emergency personnel observed an active fire on the second floor of the structure upon arrival.
Firefighters were able to extinguish the fire.
The fire is currently under investigation by the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crime Unit-Arson Squad, Ocean County Sheriff’s Office Crime Scene Investigation Unit, Lakewood Township Police Department Detective Bureau, and Ocean County Fire Marshal’s Office.
