CORTLANDVILLE, NY — A 29-year-old woman was arrested on a petit larceny charge after allegedly stealing merchandise from Walmart on Nov. 23.
Officers from the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office responded to the store at 819 Bennie Road at approximately 5:33 p.m. for a complaint of a larceny.
Taylor L. Thompson, of Harford, was determined to have stolen merchandise from the store, according to the sheriff’s office.
Thompson was arrested at 5:45 p.m. and transported to the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office where she was processed.
She was released on an appearance ticket.
Thompson is scheduled to appear for arraignment in the Town of Cortlandville Court on Dec. 8 at 1 p.m.
