Man arrested on drug charge in Ferrisburgh

FERRISBURGH, VT — A New Haven man was arrested on a drug charge following a traffic stop on Nov. 24.

Vermont State Police conducted the traffic stop at approximately 9:47 p.m. after observing a motor vehicle violation on U.S. Route 7 near the intersection with Stage Road.

The operator was identified as Rasim Redzic, 49, of New Haven.

During the investigation, troopers located approximately 12.5 grams of cocaine on Redzic’s person.

Redzic was taken into custody and transported to the New Haven State Police Barracks for processing.

He was released with a citation to appear in Addison County Superior Court, Criminal Division on Jan. 26, 2026, at 12:30 p.m.

Redzic was charged with possession of cocaine (2.5+ grams).

Troopers were assisted by members of the Middlebury Police Department.
