NEW ROCHELLE, NY — Three juveniles were arrested Nov. 20 following the execution of a search warrant at a residence on Chauncey Avenue in connection with a robbery investigation.

Detectives from the New Rochelle Police Department, assisted by uniformed personnel, executed the search warrant at a home in the 100 block of Chauncey Avenue at about 4:30 p.m.

Inside the residence, officers located three males—two 17-year-olds and one 16-year-old—in possession of a loaded handgun that matches the description of the firearm used in two recent armed robberies in the city.

The three juveniles were taken into custody without incident.

Due to their ages and New York State law, their names will not be released.

All three have been charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree, a class E felony.

They were processed as Adolescent Offenders, arraigned, then released on their own recognizance.

Robbery charges remain under active investigation as detectives continue to gather evidence linking the suspects and the recovered firearm to the recent incidents.

Anyone with information about these incidents or related activity is asked to contact the New Rochelle Police Department at (914) 654-2300 or submit an anonymous tip at (914) 632-COPS.
