Man cited on cruelty to child charge in Randolph

RANDOLPH, VT — Vermont State Police have cited a man on a charge of cruelty to a child following an investigation into an incident involving an adult and his child.

Carmine Colajezzi, 39, of Randolph, was taken into custody on Nov. 23 after troopers responded to Central Supply at approximately 12:34 p.m.

Police said the investigation revealed that Colajezzi committed the crime of cruelty to a child on Nov. 16.

Colajezzi was transported to the Vermont State Police Royalton Barracks for processing.

He was released with a criminal citation to appear in Vermont Superior Court – Orange Criminal Division on Nov. 24 at 12:30 p.m.
