PROVIDENCE, RI — State Police made six arrests over the weekend on charges ranging from drug possession to driving under the influence.
On Saturday at 1 p.m., troopers arrested Christina Wilding, 40, of Pawtucket, for possession of a scheduled I to V controlled substance (morphine) – 10 grams or less.
The arrest resulted from troopers responding to a no trespass complaint on Globe Street in Providence.
Wilding was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned as a Superior Court violator by the Justice of the Peace, and transported to the Adult Correctional Institutions Women’s Intake Center.
On Saturday at 9:28 p.m., troopers arrested Alex Dominique Silva, 30, of Pawtucket, for driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor – BAC unknown – first offense and refusal to submit to chemical test.
The arrest resulted from troopers responding to a disabled motor vehicle in the lane of travel on Route 6 in Providence.
Silva was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and held overnight pending morning arraignment and presentment as a bail violator.
On Sunday at 1:18 a.m., troopers arrested Jean Velazquez Pagan, 29, of Providence, for driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor – BAC unknown – first offense and refusal to submit to chemical test.
The arrest resulted from a motor vehicle stop on Hawes Street in Pawtucket.
Pagan was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace, and released with a future Sixth Division District Court arraignment date.
On Sunday at 1:56 a.m., troopers arrested Jose D Tavares Barbosa, 42, of Pawtucket, for driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor – BAC unknown – first offense and refusal to submit to chemical test – second offense.
The arrest resulted from a motor vehicle stop on Cross Street in Central Falls.
Tavares Barbosa was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace, and released with a future Sixth Division District Court arraignment date.
On Sunday at 1:56 a.m., troopers arrested Jose T Barbosa, 44, of Fall River, Massachusetts, for obstructing officer in execution of duty, disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest.
The arrest resulted from a motor vehicle stop on Cross Street in Central Falls.
Barbosa was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace, and released with a future Sixth Division District Court arraignment date.
On Sunday at 2:22 a.m., troopers arrested Linda Ou, 37, of Providence, for driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor – BAC unknown – first offense and refusal to submit to chemical test.
The arrest resulted from a motor vehicle stop on Roger Williams Avenue in Providence.
Ou was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace, and released with a future Sixth Division District Court arraignment date.
