SOMERS, NY — The Somers Volunteer Fire Department responded to a single-vehicle rollover with entrapment early Saturday morning.
The accident occurred at the intersection of Route 139 and Brick Hill Road at 1:35 a.m.
Emergency responders arrived to find one person trapped inside the vehicle.
Somers Fire Department and Somers EMS worked together to extricate the patient from the vehicle.
The patient was assessed at the scene and transported to a local hospital.
The roadway was closed for approximately one hour during the emergency response.
